Madison Shepard Robertson

Individual and Family Therapist
I believe in approaching the therapy experience – nonjudgmentally, flexibly, compassionately, and genuinely.
My work as a therapist is grounded in offering a counseling experience that allows you to feel heard, understood, empowered, confident, and comfortable.
You can expect me to be supportive, encouraging, and transparent with you, while also providing you with the tools you need to improve your emotional well being.
As a native Memphian with a lifelong passion for helping others, I founded East Memphis Counseling to provide mental health services to adolescents, young adults, and families in the Memphis community and surrounding areas.
Through personal and professional life experiences, I’ve seen the impact human beings can have on others. I believe in utilizing the strength of human connection in a positive way to support and guide others to live their life worth living!
I value and understand the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship and strive to create a safe environment for my clients. Effective therapy incorporates a delicate balance of acceptance and change. I am committed to your commitment, and I want to make sure you get the most out of our time together. I will support and encourage you every step of the way while also being transparent and holding you to the necessary challenges.
